Bonjour mes Belles!

Here is a quick review on the Npsa Spa Treatment in a Box, for all the Beauties out there who may have spotted this while casually strolling around their local supermarket, and wondered if it was any good.

When it comes to Glycolic acid you ideally want a product with 5% or higher (preferably 10%) any higher and you will need to book that facial you’ve been putting off. This set contains a Glycolic Peel 30ml, a brush and a day cream 50ml.

What They Say: This treatment helps to improve skin tone and radiance. The Glycolic Peel removes a layer of dead skin cells, revealing a renewed and refined skin complexion. The Brightening Day Cream with SPF15 is used following this to hydrate and protect, leaving your skin feeling soft and rejuvenated.

What I Say: If you are on a budget and want to venture into the world of face peels, then this is the set for you! You get all three items for £10, yes! A Tenner!

Application/ Results: The Glycolic Peel should last for atleast 8 applications, applied with the brush provided. The peel should only be used twice a week maximum and should not be left on the skin for any longer than 10-15 minutes. It is a clear gel that sets on the skin, you then peel off and wash off any remaining residue with cool water. I did notice a slight tingling sensation on my cheeks as soon as I applied this, but that could be down to irritation from harsh face scrubs. My skin was noticeably smoother and pores appeared smaller. I then follow-up with my nightly skincare routine.

Cons: My issues with the Glycolic Peel are that the results don’t last for longer than a day, and this could lead to mis-use of the product. Especially if you want a more permanent result. Also, the company does not state what percentage of the acid is in the peel.

Pros: Day cream can be used daily and will last a few months. The day cream has SPF 15 which is also a bonus. The cream is light-weight, so your skin won’t feel like you’ve just smeared it with a bucket of grease. The Glycolic Peel leaves skin brighter and feeling smoother. Also, the price is purse-friendly!

Do I recommend this? Yes! If you already have a good skincare routine then why not throw this set into the mix, it is cheap and easy to use. If you have used this product or any similar leave a comment down below. AnaLoves
